RULES AND REGULATIONS:

  • DCON Expect it the students to shine in their curricular and co-curricular activities as well as in their conduct and behaviour.
  • Students are expected to be punctual for classes and clinical
  • Students should keep the classrooms neat and tidy
  • Student should keep silence in the classroom, college premises to ensure a peaceful atmosphere in the college.
  • Students are expected to communicate only in English
  • Lab equipment should be handle carefully
  • While traveling in the college bus students are expected to maintain proper discipline.
  • Students should be in the college sharply at 8 am to attend the Morning Prayer.
  • Students are allowed to attend their own sisters and brothers marriage only (only one day leave).
  • Parents are not allowed to meet their children during the college time without prior permission.

PROHIBITION OF RAGGING:

  • Ragging or any type of misconduct towards any students both in the college campus or outside will be consider as criminal offense and will be immediately reported to the police.
  • Ever student shall at the time of admission furnish character certificate from the institute where from she has passed the qualifying examination, which would mention the status of her behaviour pattern especially in terms as to whether she has displayed persistent violent or aggressive behaviour or any desire to harm others.
  • Any form of ragging is prohibited in the campus.in the addition any student indulging in any form of ragging in college or hospital will be debarred from the institution.
  • Students and parents shall at the time of admission furnish an affidavit to the effect that the students will not indulge in any form of ragging .

UNIFORM:

Girls should put-up their hair and are permitted to wear only a small hear stud without hanging no extra jewels allowed.
Students are not allowed to have long nails and use nail polish, eyeteeth and such cosmetics.

HOSPITAL

Hospital facilities are available for the students. Students are accommodated spacious well-ventilated rooms, provided with all necessary comfort. All the students are resided at the hostel and will be under his supervision of the warden.

HOSTEL RULES:

  • Basic furniture is provided but students are expected to bring their own mattress, pillows, bed linen and other items of personal use.
  • The room and the surroundings should be kept clean and tidy in ordered to create eco friendly environment.
  • All the students should give the attendance to their hostel warden at 8.45 pm.
  • Students are not permitted to go out for any reason without prior permission.
  • Students must not bring any guest to the room. they may attended in the visitors room or common room.
  • All electric appliances should be switched off when not required. No room light is on beyond 10.30 pm with take outs.
  • All the belongings should be kept under lock and key, should not keep any valuable things in the room. The management is not responsible for the loss.
  • Visitors are allowed to visit the students only on first Sunday of the month from 9am to 5pm.
  • After 10.30 pm, one shall study in mess hall, front side or veranda.
  • Students are permitted to make phone calls as pre scheduled.
  • Only authorized visitors, holding the visitor’s card will be permitted to meet the students.
  • For B.Sc. Nursing student’s mobile phone is allowed with the concern of parents if anything happen due to the phone parents will be responsible.
  • Mobile phone is allowed for the students. Coordinators will be in charge for the students. The college hour (in the campus), the students can use the phones, duration between 8 to 4 pm.

LIBRARY:

  1. Library will be open from 9 to 4.
  2. Students must keep the belongings in the designated place before entering the library.
  3. Students have to observe absolute silence.
  4. Students are responsible for the books borrowed against their card.
  5. Without borrowers, card books will not be issued to the students.
  6. Only two books can be borrowed at a time for a period not exceeding three days of fine of Rs.5 Will be collected for each day after due date.
  7. Students may renew the books at the discretion of the librarian.
  8. Students should not write any page or tare the pages of the books.
  9. Reference books are meant to refer in the library. Journals will not be lent out.
  10. Damage or loss of books is considered as an offense. Unless the borrowers point out the damage at the time of borrowing the books. She shall be liable to the replace the books or pay the price of the books.
  11. Students should not discuss in the library hall. If so the fine of Rs.50 will be imposed.
  12. Use of mobile phone is for bidden inside the library.
